The main thing I have discovered today (in this very nice hotel roof garden, while alobearis asleep downstairs) is that even though I have got my 'net connection working via GPRS it is costing me a bloody fortune so no photos till we get back.

Today we were semi organised with much serendipitous finding of stuff. We meant to find the nice (and incredibly cheap) curry place, the magnificant icecream place, The Pantheon, The gothic church and The Trevi Fountain. We didn't intend to find massive amounts of other excellent statues, buildings and fountains and by far the most impressive thing I have seen in Rome so far, and one of the most impressive things I have ever seen - The Momument to Vittorio Emanuele II.
